i had intended going out to take firework pix and talking about guy fawkes being the only man to enter parliament with honest intentions etc etc. then i got called in to work and so missed the big display and am too tired to say anything much. so instead here's a box of cheap little lucifers and some handy hints for anyone going to a firework party another time.

also: himself is on super-late tomorrow, and then off on a three-day weekend :-( 'i needed a few days off.' well, yes you do, you look like chewed string. but i also need you to take a day off *for me* in the next few weeks, and i'm getting anxious when you won't even say that you're trying to figure out when :-(
