Spring has sprung!

The weeping willows are beginning to come into leaf.  They are the last to lose their leaves in Autumn and the first to bud in Spring.  The bare period is only six weeks, which means we are not completely miserable for all that long. I am surprised how hairy these emerging leaves appear - the extra shows this more clearly.
