Greyfriars Bobby.

Today I had Bobby to myself as I walked through Edinburgh to get to the Fringe Box Office for opening time at 9am. Previous trips have found him surrounded by tourists.  He is a familiar landmark for locals and tourists. He was a Skye Terrier who spent spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner until he died himself on 14 January 1872. His grave is straight in front of you as you enter Greyfriars Kirkyard, possibly being the most visited grave whereas that of his not so famous owner; policeman John Gray takes more finding.
