Working lunch

Each August in the PGR (Post-grad research office) we designate a day to have a mass office tidy up, clear out and archiving session in preparation for the new academic year in October. It's a pretty big job as there are 5 teams and 25 people in all.  But it's remarkably good fun and amazing what a difference it makes.

Normally we get just 45 minutes lunch break but on 'tidy day' we close the office for two hours, book one of the barbecue spots down by the Broad and have a picnic.  We each pay a fiver towards the cost of food, which is bought by our office manager and Robin sets fire to it, with great success.

A good time was had by all, it didn't rain, and no dogs stole any of the food.
