First portrait

My first attempt at a portrait since I was at school. S (10) and I are quite pleased.  I put the finishing touches to it this morning and we found a frame for it which she'll take home and put it up later.

S has worked hard on her dog painting and put a couple of final glazes on this morning. We're quite happy with it, although it's been hard work. I've put it in the extra photo file.

When we'd finished our paintings we all went off to the Ernley Butterfly farm and gardens. Lots of fun. It all seems quiet now they've left for home.
