it's new again..!

Been tidying up today - had to sort out the wardrobe after last week. I was delighted to find a little wicker box containing some of my jewellery hidden underneath everything. Mr I bought me this engraved silver bangle for my 19th birthday. I remember the scorchingly hot day he gave it to me whilst we were sitting next to the fountain in Town Hall Square. I was wearing a pink linen dress with large pastel flowers all over it and Roman type sandals. 'Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair' was being played on tinny transistor radios. The bright sun made it glow as I opened the box. I've always loved it - so glad I still have it. Happy days......
