Basil Thyme

One of my favourite plants, the tiny annual Basil Thyme, has flowered again at the nature reserve. It turned up last year in one of the chalk scrapes after, we think, being brought in on the hooves of cattle that had previously been grazing a neighbour's chalk slope where it grows. It's great that it seems now to be established in a new location as it is classed as rare and vulnerable in the county
