Pollen pants and socks

This little hover fly  with his pollen socks and pants was stuck in this dry spot amongst Estrella's lillies.      It has rained for a large part of the day but finally seems to be drying up now.

I'm feeling almost giddy with joy at the prospect of having some time off work.   I'll not be back in until 24th!  Huzzah...      Will not be going far from home, just a few day trips out and general pottering.
