I had a video meeting with colleagues in London today. "Are you enjoying the nice summer weather?" they said. "Yes," I replied, "it's a lovely day." ( as it was and still is). However, they were making a joke. Apparently it's been a terrible day of weather in the south. I think it's heading this way overnight.
