Bike and go!

An adventure on a bike, with a difference, today! Mum and I hired bikes (£3.80 per day!!!) and cycled all the way from West Kirby to the Seacombe Ferry Terminal...then back along the Wirral Way coastal path to Thurstaston. We had many a giggle as the bikes are incredibly heavy so we very nearly got stuck attempting to push the bikes through a sand covered part of the path...and the locks appeared to have the keys stuck in them!! 

In the photo you can also see The Mersey Ferry, which has been transformed into the Dazzle Ferry. The eye catching design is to honour the patterns that were first used on the vessel in World War One. They aimed to be baffling to enemies and make the ships difficult to target.
