Fog rolled in around 10 this morning...

It was an impressive fog bank, but it didn't hang around very long. I spent some time in the cemetery this morning photographing young and mature Cedar Waxwings, Robins and Chickadees. The old stones and uneven ground make such fabulous subjects and the inscriptions are so interesting. I never tire of exploring my favorites and shooting them at different angles or time of day for now nearly 60 years.

The fog didn't last, it's been another perfectly gorgeous day. The town is gearing up for the big  Machias Wild Blueberry Festival , I hope the great weather holds. We're going to the annual musical/comedy production tonight. It's held in the Congregational church, all locally produced, the actors locals of all ages and talents. One group we never tire of, the Tambourine Toccatas, perform in every annual show along with the theme song celebrating the blueberry harvest , Rake all day, Rake all night!

For the Record,
This day came in with rolling banks of fog followed by glorious sun.

All hands healthy
