Routine

Bailey had quite a disturbed - and disturbing (!) - night last night. Since his third night here, he has never made a noise going into his crate but last night he was actually barking and generally not happy. I went to him the first time for a trip out to the garden but not the second or the third and he did give up eventually. Time to get back to our usual routine in more ways than one. He didn't make a fuss when I left to go into work this morning and he seems to have gone to bed quietly tonight too so hopefully it was short lived. As can be seen, he has made himself comfortable for his sleeps, this evening choosing the opposite sofa to the one that had his blanket on!

My trip into school was reasonably successful with a full range of grades for my Y12s, one shock but mostly reasonable if a little harshly marked by the looks of things. The general picture was good but there were tears from people who hadn't done what they needed to do. Unlike the 18 year old in the family who did brilliantly and achieved her uni place in style.

Home for lunch and to finally get the grass cut and the rest of the post-holiday washing and ironing done. Four Bailey walks and a bit of reading makes for the full total of the day. And tomorrow the plan is to do some sorting of the untidiest room in the house and perhaps some sewing.
