Three spires

From our local park.

I remember as a kid in Dorset being as excited by the Post Office tower when it was built as the media are currently by the Shard.

I wonder if the same applied to the spire of St Augustine's when that was constructed.

Funny how the high-tech look of the Sixties has reverted to the old-style worship shape, albeit of mammon rather than a deity..
