Into the West

My view of the road returning home across the Canterbury Plains at the wrong time of day. Fortunately my son was driving. He is tall enough for the sun visor to shade his eyes. This is the reason I am keen to get home early in the winter. The sun seems to sit on the road for most of the way.

He took me to Christchurch to the hospital for a test. The news was good.

We went in early, picked up my daughter, and went to see “Mr Holmes.” We all enjoyed it very much. The three leads, Ian McKellan, Laura Linney and young Milo Parker were outstanding.

I bought an iPhone to replace my old third-hand Android phone that has been doing unexpected operations off its own bat.
