An A to Z of Southwold 2015

A challenge set by little friends also on holiday in Southwold. The photos are not in alphabetical order. I tried but Picasa would not play ball. See if you can guess which is which.

A is for Adnams, who seem to own most of Southwold!
B is for Barrels, upon which one can rest your rear in Adnams cafe.
C is for Chips from Mrs T's at the harbour. The best chips in town.
D is for Doris, goddess of wind. The name of a beach hut.
E is for Eastholme, a beach hut beginning with E.
F is for flagpole, the one on St James Green
G is for Gun Hill, where some of the canons have been restored.
H is for Harbour Cafe, a favourite place.
I is for The Sole Bay Inn.
J is for Jetty. The best photo of the set!
K is for Kent, the name on a gravestone in the churchyard. It reminded me of one of Jimbob's mates, and given I have not heard of him recently, wondered if it might be his grave.
L is for Lifeguards. There are now two huts on the beach.
M is for Museum. I love it but no one else in the family will come visit with me.
N is for Nutters, the posh deli!
O is For Our Position, one of the most well kept beach huts.
P is for Putting, where battle has been done while here. There have been a number of holes in one.
Q is for Queenie. One of the smaller beach huts at the south end of the prom.
R is for the Reading Room. I am a member, don't you know?
S is for the Sweetie Shop, where Daughter No. 3 buys her chocolate raisins.
T is for Teacakes at Buckenhams, the coffee shop that has not really changed in 20 years.
U is for Under the pier. I risked life and limb for this shot.
V is for Victoria, a small beach hut that sold for at least £75,000 this year!
W is for Walberswick, the village over the river to which we have both walked and cycled.
X is for this X noticed in the yard of Adnams Brewery.
Y is for Yachts. The harbour has many.
Z is for (a cheat here) SuZies cafe, down on the prom.
