Memento mori

TT was on childcare duties today so I was up and out early and on the bus to work.  It was a lovely morning – too nice to be going to the office.  The day passed and we all wished we were somewhere else rather than at work.

Got home to find TT, BB and friends sitting in the garden enjoying tea and cakes.  Later we had a takeaway curry and a good blether.

My lunchtime wander took me to the New Calton Burial Ground.  This stone commemorates James Strachan, Tanner of Canonmills, three of his sons who dies young, his grandson and his grandson’s  wife who is buried in Glasgow.
