Riverside Walk.

I am standing on the cycle and foot bridge over the river Cam that joins Old Chesterton to the Newmarket Road area. The second building on the left, behind the tree is the Old Pumping Station, now a museum, that I have been recently visiting. You can just see part of the chimney which is 175 ft high (53m) and fans of Fred Dibnah may  have seen it featured on one of his TV programmes. There were several rowers out today, maybe hoping for a place in next years Oxford/ Cambridge boat race. Some of these houseboats that are permanent dwellings could do with a lick of paint and I thought the water looked a bit oily around some.
