Aragog - Argiope bruennichi

The last time I blipped a spider opinion was divided but most people didn't like it.  Sorry if I've scared you again but I think this wasp spider is beautiful, especially in the extra where the colours are more evident.
It was overcast/wet this morning so we visited the market at Sainte-Foy-la-Grande and came away with huge almond macaroons, amongst other things. Yum! The sun made an appearance mid afternoon and I managed a short time sunbathing and taking a few photos before a swim, but the temperature never rose very high.
