Vaguely Marvellous

Day 9 - 37km: Tintèniac to St Samson sur Mer

Satisfyingly, we could cycle straight from the campsite onto the canal path which was a cycle route: very straightforward cycling, and absolutely beautiful, but a bit relentless.

After all the flat, we cycled up the hill into Dinan. It's very high, and also very touristy and busy. The municipal campsite we were heading for this time was horrid, so we pushed on, out of Dinan, and up the estuary. This time the hill in the final kilometre was entirely necessary. After we had pitched up, we walked down to a small marina (see extra) and had a really lovely meal out with all the boaty types.
