Everything but the vole

I met Judy this morning for a stroll among the voles. They were there, but they hid from us. We even met earlier than we usually do to give us more of a chance to see them. This led to us having the best of the day outside and we enjoyed a good natter on our walk.

We saw a big buzz of bees on the wildflowers. The flowers are still glorious in their pinks, purples and yellows. Lapwings rested on the water with their pointed, punky feathers, a southern screamer balanced on one leg (see extra pic), whistling ducks walked and whistled in synchronisation and two otters were grooming or something else (we weren't sure).

Fox news: I'm now confused about who's who. There seems to be another cub that's not a white-tip or Skinny. It has a bushy black tail with no white tip and it's not skinny. He/she is just as bold as Skinny, though, and watched me as I sat in the garden. See the extra pic.
