Seems Like Only Yesterday when You Were an Egg

Our baby bluebirds have (wisely) kept their distance since leaving the nest. They have been hanging out in one of our pine trees - the same one that they initially escaped to when they fledged - and in the vegetable garden, where they are most welcome. They will eat mealworms if I put some out in a little bowl under their favorite perch and I'm hoping that regular bribery will enable me to get a decent shot. Meanwhile, this is the best that I've done so far - taken in very harsh sunlight.
