Hurty Leg

Ozzy has to have an operation on Monday.

He's had a fatty lump on the back of his left leg for as long as we can remember.

The vet looks at it and gives it the OK every time Ozzy has his jabs/check up.

He has managed to burst it and the vet said it's ulcerated and won't heal without surgery and wants to remove it.

We had put some dressings on it but the vet removed it to look at it and then re-covered it with this lime green "Vet-Wrap" with sheep on it

While he's under they'll remove a similar, but much smaller one from his front R shoulder. (The vet refered to it as his "Brisket")

He gave him a thourough check and took some bloods.

The vet described him as very fit and in good shape so he doesn't forsee any problems.

However we are aware there is always a small risk with a GA.

Fingers, toes etc will be crossed for him on Monday, and we'll await the call from the vet with bated breath.

We should have him home again on Monday night, but he'll almost certainly have to wear "The Cone of Shame" for a few days.

At least that should provide a blip opportunity.

I doubt Ozzy will approve though.
