Star of the border

One of the standout plants in my border this year is this helenium which I think is variety 'Sahin Early Flowerer'. It was given to me by my mad-keen gardening neighbours and it's easy to see why it's such a star. I'm going to use it as the basis of a bed of colourful perennials which I can gaze out on from my conservatory next year.

For the record: Perfect calm day - not too hot.
