The wasps are back!

A few weeks ag I was talking about how few wasps we've seen over the last couple of summers. They must have heard me! Within days, numbers were building in the garden and now there are lots. We are keeping them occupied when we want garden space with some carefully positioned apple cores, which they love. What could be an annoying situation has become a sort of entertainment as we watch them jockeying for space, getting into fights and sometimes falling down drunk! I've now discovered the nest in a hole in the house wall.
