Two Peregrines!

I decided on a rerun of Monday's group walk at Llangynog as I knew that my son would enjoy it and I hadn't seen it in clear weather as mist and rain impeded visibility.

As we walked we saw these two juvenile peregrines on the rocks and they were calling to a parent flying overhead. I didn't have my birding lens, just the bridge camera but it did very well as they were a long way away.

 We also saw four lizards but they were faster at disappearing than I was with the camera!

The walk was most enjoyable and I only made a slight accidental deviation - that extra hill was really good for us!

A flask of tea and a snack on the top of the nearby pass completed a great day out.
