Härnösand’s Annual International Festival

As usual this was held at the Murberget Open-Air Museum. The day was blessed with bright sun, 20° C temperatures, and a slight breeze - perfect weather.
The whole road (on the right) was filled with around 30 food stalls selling food from 21 different nationalities.
It’s a very uplifting event for many reasons. Partly it’s just the great mix of nationalities all enjoying themselves in similar way, eating picnics on the grass, listening to music, watching children playing. Partly it’s seeing people I met as newcomers to Sweden a few years back who now seem to be well established in the town. And then of course there are all the old friends we meet, and the music, and the great food!
What an excellent Sunday!
JanHar blipped a great picture of the stage. Take a look!
Yesterday's blip was the sourdough "sponge" - if you want to see the blueberry bread that was the result that's my extra photo for today.
