Tomatoes for winter

We're heading to our holiday destination tomorrow. Before holiday,I wanted to prepare some tomato sauce for winter because it's the best time for tomatoes right now. They are the most delicious in August. I've made some of them with basil and some of them with sweet green pepper. In Turkey we use tomatoes a lot in many dishes,so they are so helpful if you want to cook a quick meal. I know there are ready packaged sauces in supermarkets,and they don't cost too much,but preparing them and using your own sauce is so much fun. After holiday I'm planning to make a few more jars :-)
