Another Gladiolus spike

Its been a frantic weekend. Daughter had a wedding to attend in the Gloucester area so we had three grandchildren to put up and care for. Time was very restricted for blipping. We had a little sun this morning that shone directly onto a new blooming gladiolus spike. It was like a mini spotlight and it caught my attention. The sun soon went behind the house next door and the bloom lost its photographic appeal...
