the red brae

I couldn't decide whether to post the wonderful view towards Misty Law from Windy Hill or the less scenic Red Brae.

I enjoyed running up to misty law in my late teens in a masochistic sort of way. But the less scenic view of the red brae holds a stronger reminder of my early years. I must have walked up and down the brae, jumped over and climbed in and out of those railings a thousand times.

It seemed a lot steeper and a hell of a lot longer back then!
