Incoming Rain

The rain moved in from the north-west fairly early in the day. It was not cold but my word, the heavens opened during the afternoon.
I bought terracotta pots from a local garden centre this morning. I started the process of painting them, some in rich purple so far (my favourite colour). I have bright yellow, dark red and apple green paints for more pots. And plants to go in the pots.
Keith and I and a friend went to the cinema this afternoon to see the film "Holmes". It was brilliant and Ian McKellen portrayed the very elderly Holmes splendidly.
So now my blip is done... I can get on with more pot painting....
