Highest point in West Virginia

We took three hikes today. This was Benny's first time hiking off leash and he was great! Our first hike was in the woods. Afterwards, we came back to the campsite and made ramen with some fresh sliced carrot because I brought my left over CSA produce from last week. Afterwards, we hiked to the observation tower at the highest point in West Virginia, where this photo was taken.

In the afternoon, Craig and I intended to play some games but we all fell asleep for a couple of hours. When we woke up, it started to rain so I got some knitting done while Craig read his fantasy football magazine and the puppies slept some more.

We ended the day with a hike around Spruce Knob Lake. We plan on coming back when the sky is clear to watch the sunrise or look at the stars.
