Back to phở chua

I drove to meet Thuận to have lunch at a place famous for their cơm tấm (broken rice). Afterwards we went for a coffee before I had to leave to meet my friend Ngoc who I'd first met back in January. I arrived at the coffee shop at the same time as a storm which delayed Ngoc. We chatted for a while but she's busy with exams so couldn't stay too long.

I left to go to a nearby food stall selling phở chua (a northern sour version of phở without the soup) where Ngoc had taken me in January. I also had a rice dumpling called bánh giò which was fantastic. The photo is my view from the street-side table.
