Mr. Grasshopper

This morning I went for an early walk as rain was forecast. I went up Llanymynech Rocks and got to the top just as the rain started. The trees on the way down acted like a big umbrella!

I saw this Common Green Grasshopper jump onto a leaf and managed to get a shot before the stiff breeze knocked it off when it blew the leaf upside down. According to my book it's a male as the female has green wings and head.
