It's mine!

'This is my stick, mine, can you hear me? No one else can have it, it's mine. Just try and take it from me'  

This wood pigeon was sitting in the tree this morning with he's prized stick. I don't know why he had it, it's too late in the year for nest building, perhaps he was going to use it as some sort of tool, who knows? Anyway he was not letting it go, and sat there for ages with it.
