What if?

Goldenrod

A familiar plant, Solidago canadensis, grows up to 6 feet tall in some places. This is considered to cause hay fever, but it is insect pollinated so it is unlikely that so much pollen is free in the air as if it were wind pollinated. A similar species that is less aggressive is often used in floral arrangements.

We don't use our front door. This morning I went out that way and was greeted by a shower of wasps. In the extra you can see the nest they had built.
