Rauðhólar

einir and i went to rauðhólar (the red hills) today--we were intending on going to hike at heiðmörk, which is a forest, but like, we ended up in the red hills, which wasn't disappointing in the slightest. volcanic rocks are very very cool. there was this beautiful, incredibly clear stream with long strands of algae and water plants...... so beautiful.

afterwards we went to tiger, which is my new favorite store because it has loads of random crap that i want, but don't need, and it's really cheap. went home and made dal masala and shortbread with icelandic butter because i'm great. let me tell you. icelandic butter (smjör) makes REALLY good shortbread.
