Red Lily

On the way to our community garden I noticed this lily on the "wrong" (roadway) side of the fence.

Rebellious flowers such as this, who have escaped their garden corral, inspire me.

All alone this red lily struts its stuff in an otherwise barren area.

I will pay my respects this plant every time I go to our garden.

I look forward to the blossoms it has yet to unfold.
