Road trip to Snoopy Island

A brilliant day out today over to the east coast and Fujairah which lies on the Gulf of Oman. What should be a relatively short journey took us quite sometime as my navigator failed to spot the first major turn off we needed to take! Still, when you get lost it's quite good as you find places and things you never normally would.

Such as when we were lost was past Sharjha industrial estates?? and were driving down a road and had to stop to allow some camels to cross the road!

Anyway, we finally made it up to Sandy Beach and where Snoopy Island is and it was well worth the journey. You can snorkel around this Island and we saw some amazing fish and even spotted a small reef shark in the distance!
