On Borrowed Time

I'm afraid the end may be night for my Kindle Fire HD. The BBC iPlayer will no longer allow downloaded programs to be played offline on this version of the Kindle Fire from September 1st. As that is one of the main reasons that I bought it (I fly a lot of short haul trips) I'm going to need to upgrade:-(
