Antigone

Just returned from seeing a fabulous staging of the Greek tragedy "Antigone" with Juliette Binoche as part of the EIFF.

It's one of my absolute favourite plays and it didn't disappoint- very different but stands in its own right I think as an interpretation. Stunning set and music too.

Binoche was incredible. The Antigone I fell in love with when I was a teenager was there before me. This was MY Antigone.
