Colour and music

The colourful costumes of these Indians caused a stir in the street and there was quite a crowd around them but their music was disappointing since it had a powerful back-up of westernized orchestra in the "relax" mode.  I felt sorry for the Salvation Army who were in competition standing just out of the photograph with their collection tins, so after taking a few photographs I put money in both pots!  A year or so ago we had a full Indian band with their panpipes and no electronic back-up which was much more interesting. 

Are these Inca or " Aztec" Indians - does anyone know??  I didn't stay long enough to find out, just thought their headdresses may provide a clue.
