Swirling sands

Went for a walk on the West Sands in St Andrews this afternoon. It was lovely and sunny but very VERY windy. The gusts of wind were blowing sand straight across the beach making lots of interesting patterns. I think this mono shot shows the streaks of fast moving dry light sand over the darker wet sand quite well.

After trying and failing yesterday to join up the panorama I took at Ben Lomond on Tuesday, my Dad upgraded his version of lightroom to one that has a panorama feature. And it worked! In the extras are two panoramas from the top of Ben Lomond covering a 360 degree view. Hope it doesn't matter that the extras weren't taken today. The main blip was.
