new life

today l found a new born but abandoned roe dee fawn - the pictures are adorable but too difficult to publish as it died during the night being wet and cold and mum never came back for it! I went for a wash-up (and a weep) at the campsite and found this oak sprouting. it reminded me of the budhist belief that death is a new beginning and so l hope to meet the fawn again - perhaps as a mighty stag.
