Problem Solving 101

I used to think the medicating a cat was difficult. But that was a piece of cake compared to rabbits!

Syringed straight into the mouth - not a chance

Mashed with carrot - Annabelle apparently doesn't like carrot...

Baby food ... banana - nope

More baby food ... apple - nope

Even more baby food ... pear - nope, nope, nope!

(Do I have the only rabbit in existence that doesn't like fruit and veg?!)

Pellets. They go nuts for their pellets. Hmm. OK, I have a spare bowl. And a Sharpie pen. Drop medicine onto pellets. Try and get them to only eat from their own bowls. Annabelle's tastes funny. She knows Bonnie's doesn't. Small amount of encouragement needed to keep her eating her own pellets. She's left the last few pellets, which have the most medicine on. Offer them to her on my hand. She wolfs them down. Success!

Easy peasy...
