wheel bug

This was kindly identified as a wheel bug by the folks over at the What's That Bug?  website. I have read all of the fascinating info about this little guy, and now know that he bites other bugs and fills them with poison to turn their insides to a delicious smoothie. He defends himself (like a little mini robot skunk) by emitting a foul smell. He has a painful bite and humans describe it as being ten times more painful than a wasp and as taking a long time to heal. I'm quite glad I relocated him with an old washcloth that I did not want back after it touched him.
