Monday Moth

I found this fine fellow of a moth in my porch, looking very attractive indeed (well...not in this fuzzy photo...and don't look at the shoddy paintwork on the grubby skirting board either please!)    It seemed a shame to remove the beautiful moth...but I don't think he/she would have lasted long once Ollie the Collie had spotted him, sitting in his favourite spot, where he likes to terrorise the postman.  It would have been under a dirty, shaggy paw in seconds!
It was reluctant to leave too!  It was flying against the door, trying to get back in after I'd finally managed to get it outside, showing a beautiful red under its wings too.
