The Blades

I spent today at the RAFA air show at Shoreham Airport. As many may know the day tuned to tragedy as at the start of the second half of the show a Hawker Hunter was displaying and sadly crashed onto the A27 (which runs just outside the airport) striking several vehicles. Obviously all flying ceased after the crash and tomorrow's display has also been cancelled.

As I write this there are seven confirmed fatalities and many injured including the pilot who is seriously hurt in hospital and it is believed that there may be more casualties found. My thoughts are with the families of all who were affected by this incident.

My blip today is of The Blades aerobatic display team performing on what started out as a perfect day.
