Have a butchers at this

The blessed rain has come.  It's wonderful but the garden has been so dry I think we could do with a bit more. 

This poor juvenile Grey Butcherbird has been hanging around my garden today and this shot was taken from my back door.  Makes for an easy blip doesn't it.   It quite likes that tree and has been back and forward to it all day but I am not sure what it is looking for in the garden.  My pond looks like something has been dive bombing into it but I don't think Butcherbirds are interested in fish.   I once caught a white faced heron looking for a feed and I am sure the kookas have had a crack at it too.
