Sea cliff climbing at Aberdour.

Auntie Alison and Uncle John are keen climbers/mountaineers and took Harry (and I) sea cliff climbing today. It was Harry's first time climbing on real rock, although he has had a few indoor sessions at the climbing wall. To access the cliff base, there was a fairly committed abseil, so we were all enormously relieved once Harry had mastered this technique and reached the base. H was too (see extra). First abseil.
We then had an amazing time in glorious sunshine, enjoying the climbing against the back drop of the sea. H was amazing - and brave - and managed two different, high and exposed climbs. There was a bit of a wobble on the very last climb back up, but Auntie Alison was climbing by his side to encourage and cuddle, so all was well and there were big smiles at the top...
(I had a go too to encourage him, though I can't remember the last time  I went climbing!!).
