The dinner of luuurve

So the kids cooked us our now traditional (traditions kick in when you've done something twice, right?) anniversary dinner this evening, and I have to say we were both blown away by it.

The girl child took the role of chef de cuisine, with the boy child being maitre d'. We seem to spend a significant portion of our lives watching cookery programmes, and I'm glad to report that it seems to have paid off.

Starter was scallops and prawns, with spinach and mushrooms, as you can see in the main picture. Delicious. The extra pics show the rest of the meal. Main course was a Vietnamese beef noodle dish, with a really nice (and massive!) parfait for dessert. Mme Tepeka and I are now both completely stuffed and have retired to the sofa while the kids are cleaning up the bomb site that is our kitchen.

Tomorrow, I promise, no more food blips.
